COVID-19 Response

As you well know, we are living through very unusual days. The COVID-19 Virus is impacting communities and businesses around the world. Each one of us is responsible to do our part in helping to keep this virus from spreading as any more than it already has.

At Wilson Computer Support, we know how important technology is to you and to the job that you do. Due to this we are taking steps to ensure that you continue to have access to our support team and products. Even if our staff has to work from home, they will still be available to assist you by telephone or email just as your normally expect of us. In addition to remote and phone support we are still providing onsite support for commercial customers when other options will not work for the situation. We are working diligently to provide the same continuity in service that you have learned to expect of us. We are assisting many clients in the transition of working in the business office to working from home. If you or any of your staff need any assistance with this, please let us know. We are here and ready to help.

As of today, none of our employees have been infected by the virus.

We are actively monitoring events related to the Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 and are following the guidance of our public health officials and agencies. This is a fluid situation which is changing daily. Here is what Wilson Computer Support is doing to protect our staff and customers:

1. We will remain open working exactly the same to serve your needs during this crisis. This includes after hours support. Just call in as normal and leave a message after our normal business hours of 8 AM to 5:30 PM and one of our on call technicians will reach out to you within 30 minutes to assist you.

2. We are being extra mindful of good hygiene practices and frequent hand sanitizing. We are reminding employees through multiple channels about washing hands often.

3. If you need to drop off a computer or laptop for service, please call us first. Our lobby is closed to everyone except employees. We will meet you outside to fill out paperwork and to sanitize the exterior of your device before we bring it inside. This may seem unusual, but thank you for understanding as we make every effort to protect the work environment and you our customer.

4. We are asking employees to stay home if they begin to feel sick and not to return to the office for at least 2 weeks. Likewise, if you are feeling sick or if you might have been exposed to the virus, please take advantage of our telephone and remote support services rather than asking a tech to come to your location. We will be happy to come to your location as long as you are well.

4. Employees are social distancing and avoiding shaking hands to reduce exposure. Like most establishments, we will fill out the paperwork for you to avoid sharing pens and paper to help minimize potential exposure.

5. If you have work which requires us to be at your location, we ask that you ensure that work areas are sanitized prior to their arrival and that no one will be onsite with our staff who has been exposed to the virus or is displaying symptoms of the virus. Our staff are authorized to leave a work site if they observe someone displaying symptoms of being sick. Our techs will observe social distancing.

Wilson Computer Support is committed to doing everything we can in providing uninterrupted service to our customers and vendors while being a responsible partner in the communities we serve. We are taking proactive measures to limit the spread of COVID-19 as we safeguard customers, vendors, and our employees. We will keep you updated should any of these policies change during this COVID-19 outbreak.
